Louie Vasquez
Louie started singing at 9 years old. It was inevitable that he would pursue music as he came from a family of musicians. Music was always a huge part of his life growing up in East Los Angeles. His major influences are the great Ronnie James Dio, Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden and the incomparable Robert Plant.
Louie has been performing with the likes of The Monsoon Band featuring Richard Salas, a local legend and original member of the international band Tierra. He also performs with Parallel Grove among others mainly in the San Gabriel Valley venues.
Like any great performer, Louie does his talking through his music. He sings with emotion and holds nothing back. On stage, whatever emotions he is feeling is what you will feel also. No apologies. No pretense.
When Louie initially came to jam with LA Rock Show at Francisco Studios, Louie recalls that “The vibe and the connection felt right. These gents are good musicians as well” and everyone knew he was the missing piece and felt right instantly.
When Louie is not performing, he spends his time being a father to two amazing boys.
